In his remarks, Nano thanked the heads of the Regional Police Directorate of Elbasan and subordinate structures for the results achieved during 2021, and focused on the perception that has been created in community, due to criminal events that have happened before.

Regarding this perception, Nano assured the citizens that the structures of the Regional Police Directorate of Elbasan are fully committed to prevent criminal events, create a safer environment, shed light on previous criminal events as well as apprehend perpetrators and persons declared wanted.

In this context, Nano has asked for more commitment from the police structures, as well as called on the citizens to show trust and support to help the police in order to prevent criminal events and change this perception that has been created for a long time now in this region.

During the analysis, Nano asked local structures to have a crackdown on crime, uncover previous crimes and apprehend perpetrators, prevent cannabis cultivation and show zero tolerance towards those involved in criminal activities in any field posing serious risk for the lives and property of citizens.
