TIRANA, June 14 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama took to the social media to react following the detainment of three Kosovo police officers by Serbian forces earlier on Wednesday.

PM Rama said that the Albanian government is waiting for the findings of an investigation launched by the NATO-led international peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, and reiterated support for immediate de-escalation of the situation in northern Kosovo.

“Whoever says that we are keeping silent or who seeks for us to fuel the fire by raising accusations, while KFOR is investigating the case would not care about either Kosova or Albania, but only about the murky political fight with me or the imaginary war policy with Serbia,” PM Rama twitted.

“Therefore, I need to remind them once again that Albania is part of the Euro-Atlantic community and has the very same line as this community, which bombed Serbia and created the state of Kosovo! We wait for the KFOR investigation result and we support immediate de-escalation!” he stated.
