The municipality of Pogradec organized dozens of activities marking the kickoff of the new season, which attracted many citizens and tourists.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on social media highlights from the activities organized in the city of Pogradec.
“With a complete tour package from the enchanting lake to mountain activities, along with cultural monuments, tradition and cuisine, Pogradeci is already another highly sought-after destination,” writes Rama.
The opening activities of the summer season started with the brass band, which paraded through the main streets of the city.
The guesthouses and restaurants of the city organized a fair showcasing the traditional culinary delights, while the artisans exhibited their works such as embroidery, crochet and various jams.
In addition, it featured a series of activities such as concerts with songs and games for children.
Pogradec and its surroundings make for a year- round tourist attraction steeped in nature, culture and history making it a city of grandeur and charm.
In addition to the lake, Pogradec is famed for natural beauties on its outskirts, in the villages that surround it, it is home to important cultural and historical monuments that are worth a visit.
This charming city is surrounded by beauties such as Lini, a small peninsula on the western shores of Lake Ohrid with a beautiful namesake village. Pogradec is also home to many medieval churches, such as the church of Saint Bitr, which the locals call the church of Saint Bitr, located a few hundred meters from the village of Potkozhan.
