TIRANA, Feb 18 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a photo of swans in the Pogradec lake on Saturday.
In the waters of one of the largest lakes in the Balkan Peninsula and one of the oldest lakes in the world, swans are permanent visitors.

“Good morning from Pogradec,” Prime Minister Rama writes.

Lake Pogradec (Ohrid), lies in the south-east of our country and represents a water basin of tectonic origin. This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and the most beautiful of all the lakes of the Balkan peninsula. In its crystal clear waters, objects can be seen at a depth of about 20 meters. The high lucidity is attributed to the low concentration of microorganisms, the final composition of the water and the depth. From a distance, the waters of the lake look colorful.
