The situation in the Northern Region

Currently, there is no snowfall on the Qafë Mali-Fierzë route, but strong winds are causing snow to drift onto the road. Traffic is flowing smoothly.

The Krumë – Qafë Prush route is operating without any issues. The same applies to the Kukës – Bushtricë route.

Snowfall has ceased on the Bogë – Theth route. The road has been cleared and salted, making it passable with winter tires.

On the Hani Hoti – Tamarë and Tamarë – Vermosh routes, snowfall has ceased. The road has been cleared and salted, and traffic is proceeding normally.

Snowfall on the U. Zapotit – Shishtavec route has been accompanied by strong winds.

Efforts have been made to clear and salt the road. The temperature is -9 degrees, and the snow has accumulated to a depth of 70 cm.

Snowfall continues on the Kukës – Krumë and Kukës – U. Zapotit routes, accompanied by strong winds. Traffic is proceeding without interruptions.

Snowfall has stopped on the Fushë Arrëz – Qafë Mali – Qafë Shllak route, but strong winds and extremely low temperatures, reaching as low as -12 degrees, persist.

Efforts are ongoing on the Skuraj-Peshkopi segment to clear and salt the road. While the snowfall has ceased, strong winds persist.

Central Region situation

Throughout the day, work continued on the Fresk – Trau Dajt segment at km 5 to address the slope erosion. Efforts are underway to clear the road on the Trau – Teleferiku segment, where snowfall has occurred. Work teams have been focused on clearing and salting the road. Winter tires are advised for travel. On the Trau Qafë Priskë – Qafë Mollë segment, there was no snowfall, and the road has been cleared and salted. Winter tires are also recommended for this route. On the Qafë Mollë – Bizë segment, vehicle users are advised to use snow chains.

Southern Region situation:

Work has continued on the Korçë-Dardhë road to plow the snow and salt the cleared road.

On the Korçë-Voskopojë road, efforts for snow clearing and salting are ongoing.

On the Korçë – Ersekë route, there is strong wind, especially along the segment from Helmës to Mollas.

On the Ersekë-Leskovik segment, the snow depth ranges from 15 to 20 cm. Vehicle circulation is advised with winter tires or chains. Minimum temperatures reach as low as -6°C.

Efforts to clear and salt the road on the Qafë Thanë-Pogradec route are ongoing, with traffic being managed using winter tires.
