TIRANA, Nov 12 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, announced on Wednesday that on Monday the opposition will launch its parliamentary platform in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where both MPs and citizens will address the public.
“Monday will mark the launch of the citizens – parliamentarians parliament in front of the Prime Minister’s Office,” Berisha announced.

He further stated that “the Democratic Party is initiating a new chapter, undertaking a comprehensive review of the national situation and the electoral process, with the firm conviction that there is only one way to confront this narco-dictatorship — through continuous and fearless protest.”
Berisha stated that “the deputies will be present on the platform, in the committees, in parliament, as well as in meetings with citizens.”
“I cannot say that all deputies will be there, as some may have scheduled meetings with their constituencies. Such meetings will take precedence and cannot be postponed. We are now fully engaged in an all-encompassing battle against the regime,” Berisha declared.
In his address, Berisha also referred to the fatal incident that occurred a day earlier near Rinas Airport, in which Gilmando Dani was killed and Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri), an officer of the Police Oversight Agency, sustained serious injuries.
Berisha stated that they were killed in what should have been a secure area and that the police made no effort to apprehend the perpetrators.
