Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media this amazing masterpiece of the “Pirro”, with Albanian motifs.

“This masterpiece features twelve Albanian folk dancers, representing twelve regions, each unique and diverse in their respective regional embroidery, reflected in the micro figurines through hyper-realism, to mark the hours. Each has been finely designed and engraved to a micron range of 9-10mm height each, preserving the originality of a sculptural artwork.

The dial consists of a diverse artistic micro-mosaic, in red-black gradient of Murano glass stones, consisting of 1500 stones in eight different colors and 64 cuts, the smallest measuring only 0.2mm. The gradient and brand texture are adjusting the shade to indicate the hours.

On his part, Rama wrote that, “It is a clock with a field of 1500 microscopic plates in red stone from Murano, on which are placed 12 Albanian dancers of 0.9 mm, handmade in 18 carat yellow gold, which was accepted in the Grand Prix competition of Watches 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland, or in other words the world “Oscar” of watchmakers, where thanks to our genius goldsmith, Albania also enters for the first time”, said Rama. /m.m/p.s./
