The project approved by the Council of Ministers is not a concession and does not qualify for state support measures.

The company is given a 36-month period to complete the construction, secure the building permit, and commission the power plant. It is anticipated to operate for 49 years.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, along with the National Agency for Natural Resources, will conduct regular oversight to ensure that both the construction and operation align with the required standards and technical documentation.
The company “SOLEN ENERGY” will report every three months on the progress of the works and will comply with all the terms of permits, licenses, and environmental authorizations.
The project also stipulates that 2% of the produced energy be provided free of charge to the ministry responsible for energy, or converted into a monetary value for the state budget. The remaining portion may be sold to the public supplier in accordance with the current legislation. /j.p/sm/

Government decision on the approval of the construction of the photovoltaic power plant and ancillary works, which does not benefit from the support measures, at the dam of Qyrsaqi, Vau i Dejës HPP, Shkodra Region, by the Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the decision, the deadline for construction and putting into operation of the photovoltaic park will be within 24 (twenty four) months from obtaining the construction permit, while the location of the energy generating source will be at the dam of Qyrsaqi, Vau i Dejës HPP, in Shkodra district.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and other institutions authorized by it, have the right to exercise a 3 –month general supervision, during the implementation and the putting into operation of the photovoltaic park in order to verify the pace of works. //a.i/
