TIRANA, September 16 /ATA/ The Museum of Artifacts of the Armed Forces unveiled today in Peza a rich collection of weapons used during the Second World War by Albanian freedom-fighters, the various units of the forces that fought against the Nazi fascist invaders.

Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu said that the activity took place in context of the 80th anniversary of the country’s Liberation, as an annual event with a mobile museum that attracted the attention of hundreds of enthusiasts and tourists.

“Over 35 automatic rifles, light artillery cannons used on several fronts by partisan units, 10 machine guns of different brands and many other weapons transformed the Museum of the Armed Forces into one of the most favorite destinations of the activity ‘Peza n ‘Fest'”, said Vengu.

According to the minister, the rare evidence of Albania’s history gave another dimension to this event, referring to “Peza n’fest”, where the main goal was to acquaint the young generations and foreigners with the events that have marked the history of Albania. /m.m/p.s./
