Speaking on the panel “Making Public Services Work for Everyone,” Ibrahimaj highlighted Albania’s progress in the digitalization of public services and innovation, stressing the country’s commitment to building a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented administration.

She emphasized the upcoming e-Albania 2.0 platform, which will provide personalized and inclusive services, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly.

The Minister underlined that Albania has already set a regional example in digital transformation, with the government aiming to integrate technology across all public administration processes to foster sustainable development and strengthen public trust in institutions.

During the summit, Ibrahimaj also held bilateral meetings with the Deputy Commissioner of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content, and Technology (DG CNECT), discussing Albania’s alignment with EU digital developments and the importance of cooperation to unlock the region’s potential.

In a separate meeting with Serbia’s Deputy Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Slavisha Antiq, Ibrahimaj explored Serbia’s Government Data Center model as a best practice from which Albania can draw experience and technical know-how to strengthen national capacities.

The Western Balkans Digital Summit marks a significant step toward deepening regional cooperation and advancing the integration of the region into Europe’s innovation and technology market, creating new opportunities for development and modernization of public administrations.
