TIRANA, March  8 /ATA/ Attention to the environment has increased the number of protected areas that present stunning natural landscapes and have become magnets for visitors of nature and heritage tourism.

One of these parks lies about 30 km northeast of the town of Përmet, where the massif of firs, otherwise known as the Hotova Fir, is a natural wonder.

The magnificent view of the “Bredhi i Hotovës-Dangëlli” National Park spans from the entrance of the Lomnica valley, to near Kokojka mountain. This fantastic oasis offers wonderful landscapes in every season, always dominated by the Macedonian fir, considered one of the most important Mediterranean plant relics in Albania.

Mountain tourism, mountaineering, but also cultural heritage assets in the area constitute a good basis for sustainable development, preserving the values ​​of natural diversity.
