Celibashi: Over 160 thousand Albanian nationals abroad registered in PER, so far

TIRANA, February 21/ATA/ More than 160,000 Albanian nationals abroad have registered on the CEC’s PER application to vote in May 11 general elections since January 11.

State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi called today on Albanian emigrants to register and submit their voter registration application by the deadline of March 4.

For those who have been rejected, the CEC has clarified that they can reapply without restriction, by following the instructions sent to their accounts in the PER application.

Ceibashi emphasized that voters from abroad whose application for registration in PER has been rejected have the right to reapply without restriction until March 4, 2025.

“Before reapplying, you must: Carefully read the reason for the rejection of the application, which you will find in your PER account. Click on the link in the message sent by the CEC to your phone or email address. Through this link you will receive help directly from the CEC,” Celibashi wrote in a post in the social media. /a.g/p.s./

TIRANA, February 18/ATA/ The number of Albanian nationals registered on the Electronic Registration Platform (PER) since January 11, to participate in the Parliamentary elections to be held on May 11, has reached 150 thousand citizens.

Chief State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi provided the figure through a post in the social media.

Celibashi called on Albanian citizens to apply to PER now and until March 4, 2025.

“The out-of-the-country voters, whose application for registration in PER has been rejected, have the right to reapply without restriction until March 4, 2025,” Celibashi wrote.

“Before reapplying, you must carefully read the reason for the rejection of the application, which you can find in your PER account. Click on the link in the content of the message sent by the CEC to your phone or e-mail address. Through this link you will receive direct help from the CEC”, underlined Celibashi. /j.p/p.s./

TIRANA, February 7/ATA/ 100 thousand Albanian citizens living abroad have had their requests approved to register as voters on the Electronic Registration Platform (PER) to participate in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

According to the CEC, there are 100 thousand (unique) voters whose requests have been approved, since January 11, when the registration process began.

Chief State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi called on the Albanian nationals to register on PER, so that they have the opportunity to vote from the country where they live.
