This meeting addressed several important issues for the labor market and social protection.
Gonxhja announced that the Social Security agreement with Italy was presented in detail, emphasizing the benefits it will bring to Albanian citizens working in Italy and vice versa.
It also included a presentation of the Youth Guarantee Scheme, which has started to be piloted and is set to be implemented until 2027.
This program aims to increase the employment of young people and integrate them into the labor market, offering concrete opportunities for professional development, Gonxhja said in a post on social media.
This meeting also addressed the Social Security Reform, underlining the importance of improving pension schemes in order to guarantee a safer future for Albanian citizens.

The policy paper on Occupational Safety and Health 2024 – 2030 and the action plan for this strategy were discussed in detail.

This strategy aims to increase safety and health standards in the workplace for all employees, Gonxhja underlined.
Gonxhja emphasized that these steps are important for improving working conditions, increasing opportunities for young people and social protection for all citizens.
