Peleshi announced on his social media account that the two emphasized that regional security comes only through membership in NATO and the European Union of the entire region.

“With the Montenegrin counterpart Dragan Krapovic, we discussed the close cooperation between Albania and Montenegro in the field of security and defense,” Peleshi says.

“Not only as NATO partners, but also as neighbors with a common vision and goal, we agreed that regional cooperation provides the foundation for the stability and development of the Western Balkans,” Minister of Defense of Albania said.

“Membership in NATO and the EU is the only way to ensure the security of all countries in the region. Cooperation and solidarity are at the core of our path to a safe and stable environment for all the countries in the region,” Peleshi concludes his post, sharing photos from the meeting.
