Minister Peleshi discussed with the residents their main problems, while underlining the investments made under the Socialist Party government in agriculture. Accompanied by the mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, they put the emphasis on implementation of several projects in this area such as water supply system, which has been an early demand of the locals in Dvoran and Kamenica.

Another problem, which is on track to solution is the registration of agricultural land, an issue that has been a major concern for Dvoran. Minister Peleshi, while talking about the situation 8 years ago, said that in half of the municipalities and communes countrywide the funds were spent more on salaries than on investments, while now the situation has totally changed. Minister Peleshi called on farmers to apply until March 30 for the tax-free oil scheme.

“The deadline has been extended until the end of March, all those who meet the conditions should hurry to benefit this incentive. As for subsidies, which I know are never enough, even in EU countries, their range has been expanded. It’s not an easy path and cannot be addressed right away, but it’s important that from meeting to meeting we have something to say. Even in Dvoran the water supply system and several roads have been already built. ”

During the conversation with farmers, Peleshi promised the support of the government and local government for issues that concern farmers related to collection or marketing of products in the area.
