“The investment in the reconstruction of the Salari-Nivica road, about 17 km long, the newest project of the municipality of Tepelena through the financial support of the Albanian government, has already started to be implemented,” Peçi said.

This road connects the area of Lopës as well as Salarina with Nivica, with other investments already being carried out in the Gusmar-Kuç road and Lot III of the Lumi i Vlorës road.

In his remarks Peçi said that, the road segment will be subject to interventions due to be carried out from the exit of Salari village to Nivica village.

“Project entails work on asphalt paving using asphalt binder, rehabilitation of stormwater drainage system. Currently, work is underway on road widening as well as substrates excavation,” he added.

Peçi also mentioned the investments in the extension of the water distribution network, the interventions in the internal roads of the castle, the rehabilitation of entrance of the castle of “Ali Pasha Tepelena”, interventions in the streets; “Salari Duka”, “Tafil Buzi”, “Dragot”, “Pasarelë” LOT II, as well as the reconstruction of the 9-year school “Nivicë” and the 9-year school “Dukaj”.  //a.i/
