TIRANA, December 12/ATA/ Rainfall and snowfall that have covered most of the country’s territory have brought maintenance contractors on the ground to ensure normal movement of vehicles along the national road axes.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media photos from the work on the ground for clearing the roads from snow and distributing salt in order not to block the movement of vehicles.

“Good morning and with the work that continues without a break to keep passable every road in the areas covered with snow, I wish you a nice Sunday,” said Rama.

Moderate rain and snow have covered the country without causing any problems on the national roads and for the movement of vehicles.

Maintenance contractors are on site to clear the road from falling materials into the road body.

Meanwhile, drivers are notified to be careful during the trip, to respect the signs, to reduce the speed and to be equipped with chains and winter tires./p.s./
