TIRANA, Aug 22 /ATA/ Natural parks are regarded as strengths of sustainable tourism and economic development, so prevention of hunting and wildlife conservation remain a priority.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posted on Tuesday to the social networks the postcard from protected areas, populated mainly by roe deer in Bredhin e Sotires and squirrels in Shebenik, areas already turned into tranquil habitats and ecotourism attractions in national and natural parks.

The moratorium on hunting in the forests is paying off, bringing about the regeneration of wild fauna.
Also, the consistent conservation work by the staff of the Protected Areas has led to the regeneration of wildlife in our country every day.

The Shebenik-Jablanica National Park, spanning an area of 34 thousand ha, at an altitude of 300 – 2264 m above sea level, is very rich in vegetation, wild animals and bird with its natural vegetation constituting about 32% of the flora of all of Albania.
Likewise, the “Bredhi i Sotires” Protected Area, Category III Natural Monument, which covers an area of 1,740 ha in Upper Dropull, is considered a gem of Albanian nature from an ecotourism and scientific point of view./ m.m/sm/
