Rama said that this park is a gem of the southeast, not only for its values as a protected area, but also for natural tourism.

The national park “Bredhi i Drenoves” is considered one of the most beautiful natural parks in Albania that is visited all year round by tourists and mostly foreigners.

The national park “Bredhi i Drenoves” is located in the district of Korça. It covers an area of 1380 ha. It takes on special importance when it comes to exchange of faunal and floristic elements of our country with those of Greece.

The park is a core and bio-corridor for large vertebrates, such as bear, wolf, roe deer, thus gaining regional Balkan values and importance. It is home to a variety of habitats: natural subalpine and alpine pastures, beech, pine, fir and hazel forests, many rare and sub-endemic plants. It is famed for attractive landscapes with great potential for natural and cultural tourism and sustainable development.
