TIRANA, September 16/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in the Assembly during presentation of the new government program in its third mandate that, “We are proud of our struggle against the pandemics during our governance mandate”.

The prime minister highlighted the fact that Albania has been among the most efficient countries in this fight.

He emphasized that the government sticks to the plan of massive vaccination of the people and it has secured the necessary doses to realize this plan.

PM Rama acknowledged that no government can be perfect in spite of the good will. However, in dealing with the pandemics, we envy no other because we have been among the most efficient countries in this war. The prime minister provided facts to back his argument and spoke about recognition of the digital certificate issued by e-albania platform of free travel in Europe for all vaccinated Albanian citizens.

The prime minister remarked that the digital certificate approved is a significant message to all non-vaccinated citizens to get the vaccine and protect their lives, but on the other hand even for the free movement abroad./a.a/p.s./

TIRANA, April 15/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that we are at a historic moment, just about to come out of the pandemic tunnel.

Rama said that everyone is stressed because of the pandemic, but according to him, the question is: for this challenge and this stress will we find the right medicine, or will we take the wrong medicine?

“The right medicine is the strength of the Albanian character, the strength of our character that at this moment to do what we should do,” he said.

Rama said that to reach the top, one does not go with electoral programs and promises that do not end, but with everything we have prepared to continue to climb to the top.

“We are ready to open new gates to Albania from the sky and the sea. Airports in Kukës, Tirana, Vlora and Saranda. Tourist ports in Vlora, Saranda, Durrës and Shengjin “, informed Rama.

“All these gates to open Albania for many more people. Tourists coming from the sea gates are tourists who bring consumption and will certainly make people seek to go deeper, to see the interior of Albania. We are ready to undertake the biggest offensive in history and turn Albania within this decade into the Balkan champions in tourism, agri-tourism, energy, agriculture and IT “, said the prime minister.

The prime minister also focused on agriculture and said that thanks to investments and fiscal policy pursued today, exports have increased from 100 million to 400 million USD and are expected to reach 1 billion dollars by the end of 2025.

The development of agriculture, the increase of exports, he said, refute the theory that people have fled./j.p/r.e/p.s./
