Referring to the report of the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), the number of non-resident visitors who have been accommodated in the southern region has recorded the highest increase by 2.5 times.

The data show that Kosoco records the highest number of non-resident vacationers, followed by German vacationers. According to INSTAT, non-resident German vacationers increased by 9.1%. 7.8% of non-resident holidaymakers were Italian, 3.4% Polish and 2.9% of holidaymakers were English.

In coastal areas, the number of non-resident visitors has increased by 98.5%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

The number of non-resident visitors who were accommodated in “hotels and similar accommodations” has increased by 45.1%

The number of total overnight stays has also increased by 46.7% compared to May 2022.
The number of overnight stays of non-resident visitors who were accommodated in the southern region recorded the highest increase of 3.2 times. In coastal areas, this indicator has increased by 47.2%, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The number of overnight stays of non-resident visitors who were accommodated in “hotels and similar accommodations” increased by 36.4%.
