TIRANA, Feb  8 /ATA/ The new health center in Balldren of Lezha, after its rehabilitation, offers better conditions guaranteeing quality medical care for the residents of this area.

Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, accompanied by the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja and the Mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu visited this health center.

“More than 60 health centers and outpatient clinics are being rehabilitated this year from north to south, putting the number of reconstructed centers at 400,” said Manastirliu.

Minister Manastirliu said that “the upgrading of conditions, the expansion of the vaccination program, the basic medical check-up and the inclusion of psycho-social services in the health centers are turning the primary care centers into the gatekeeper model for protecting the health of citizens. ”

“It is a center that has been rehabilitated as part of the program of the Albanian government for the rehabilitation of 300 health centers of the first phase, from 2022 we have started the second phase of the program rehabilitating 40 health centers and from 2023 another 60 health centers will undergo  the rehabilitation process,” Manastirliu emphasized.
