GIZ Albania said Sunday that “it was inspiring to hear about this so far journey from the Head of German Development Cooperation in Albania, Dr. Judith Hoffmann, and the stories of many collaborators and beneficiaries of GIZ in rural tourism and agriculture.”

South Outdoor Festival in the coastal town of Borsh, Saranda, is a unique event marking the start of the summer tourist season and designed to promote rural sustainable tourism and everything else on offer in Albania’s south.

The South Outdoor Festival aims to use outdoor activities, culture, tradition, music, performing arts,  and special events to grow public enthusiasm and encourage participation with the aim of making southern Albania an international tourism destination.

As part of events to promote the year-round sustainable tourism in the coastal villages along the Ionian Sea, the unique festival combines sport, games, culture, tradition, food, music, entertainment and so much more.
