The electricity utility said that the technicians worked in Rexhepaj, in snowy weather conditions, and restored electricity to the medium voltage network, which supplies energy to this area.

In recent days, our country has been affected by a weather with low temperatures and snow, mainly in the northern areas of the country.

This difficult weather situation has created problems in damaging power lines in some areas. But, despite the difficult weather conditions, the OSHEE teams are on alert on the ground and have intervened to repair outages and normalize electricity supply in every area that appears necessary. /p.s./

The Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) reported that by noon its emergency teams had succeeded to repair over 70% of the power outage.

The most affected areas with power outage are Gjirokastra, Shkodra and Burrel regions, mainly remote rural and mountainous areas.

“The difficult terrain in which the damaged lines are located makes it hard for the teams. Despite the rain, employees from the 11 affiliated branches of the OSHEE are on the ground to repair defects and restore power to all subscribers”, said the OSHEE. /gj.m/p.s./

Following the work of the on-site team, it became possible to provide power supply to Grapsh substation through a provisional solution.

The Distribution System Operator, following the work processes, is working on a final solution to the power outage in the Gjirokastra 2 – Grapsh line, which requires preparatory, civil and constructive work, expected to be completed within this week. //a.i/
