Qose, OSCE ambassador discuss cooperation to strengthen police oversight

TIRANA, Oct 9 /ATA/ The head of the Police Oversight Agency, Klevis Qose, met with the Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Michel Tarran, to discuss continued institutional cooperation, focusing on strengthening capacities and exchanging best practices in police oversight.

Qose expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the OSCE Presence during his tenure as head of the penitentiary system, as well as for its willingness to continue cooperation in his new role.

“Continued cooperation and the exchange of best practices remain essential to strengthening institutional capacities and advancing our shared agenda,” Qose said.

For his part, Ambassador Tarran praised the cooperation established with the agency and expressed the OSCE Presence’s readiness to continue working together.

“The OSCE Presence in Albania has a long-standing and fruitful cooperation with your agency. I am confident that we will continue this partnership. Your work and that of the agency are particularly important, and the OSCE Presence in Albania stands ready to support you,” Tarran said.

Qose thanked the ambassador for his visit and the attention shown to the institution, describing cooperation with the OSCE Presence as important for further developing the agency’s institutional capacities.
