“Albania is truly not only a friendly but also very important country for us, because it plays a key role in various sectors,” he stated.
Orban added that Hungary wants Hungarian firms and companies to succeed and have a good reputation in Albania.
He added that Hungarian companies are performing very well in the telecommunications market as well.

“We also have a very large project with Albania at hand. Albania and Egypt, that is, Europe and Egypt will be connected through a telecommunications network,” said Orban.

Orban also added, “We have connected around 50 cities via Wizz Air, and OTP has also won the award for the best digital bank in Albania. We are also witness to the fact that the Budapest water supply system is now playing a very good role with its counterpart in Tirana.”
