The leader of the Democratic Party emphasized that this “is a call to all citizens of the country to take up the mission of liberating the Albanian people and Albania.”

Berisha stated, “Rama locked down the Parliament in just five minutes.”

According to him, “this is an extreme act of violence against the Albanian people.”

Berisha stated, “The opposition will take all necessary decisions. The opposition will never accept this extreme violence against the Albanian people. This is not violence against the Parliament — it is violence against the citizens of Albania.”
Berisha stated that he does not act as a spokesperson for the ambassadors.
“Let the ambassadors speak for themselves — I have no intention of becoming anyone’s spokesperson,” Berisha said.

However, he added, “I will be the voice of the opposition’s people, and of all citizens who are being trampled on in this way.”
