The Albanian Tax Administration has set up working groups of employees, who will visit the entities in the premises where they exercise their activity, prioritizing the information and assistance to the taxpayer for Fiscalization.

The Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, said that, “taxpayers have the opportunity to report on real time their invoices through the use of the Self-Care platform or the implementation of a software solution.”

According to her, entities that issue invoices for cash transactions can issue invoices and perform the Fiscalization procedure using the Self-Care portal free of charge, if they meet the following conditions: They are not subject to value added tax; Have simplified profit tax liability for small business; Have no more than one place of business; They have the legal status “Natural Person” and the employment category “Single self-employed.”

To facilitate the process of issuing electronic invoices by taxpayers, the Tax Administration has updated the Self-Care portal by presenting a more simplified and understandable version for users.
