During a meeting with citizens of Berat about the municipality projects, Rama said that if the oil discovered in Shpirag is marketable, another projection is likely to be made for salaries and pensions.

“We are waiting for a confirmation of the fact that a great asset, a great reserve discovered in Shpirag, will be tradable or not. Whether it is marketable due to the depth and geological formation, this remains to be seen”, he said.

Rama said that despite everyone’s legitimate impatience to have more income at this time of crisis, if you look back, you will notice that salaries are higher.

“Given the austerity of this time, we are far from being adequate. If the source in Shpirag turns out to be marketable, we can make another projection for salaries and pensions”, he said. /j.p/sm/
