TIRANA, Jan 19 /ATA/- Over 300 nurses have been employed during the past year through the “Nurses for Albania” portal to serve in the public health system.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published on Facebook photos of nurses recruited throughout the country joining the team of about 900 nurses employed in the public health system during 2022 alone.

Rama emphasizes that the whitecoats of the young generation, well-educated and dedicated young people, have been attached to hundreds of reconstructed health centers across the country.

The “Nurses for Albania” platform of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection offers real employment opportunities for all nurses who have completed higher education or are further qualified in this field to contribute to the health of the community.

This platform guarantees a recruitment process guided by the principles of transparency, merit, professionalism and equality in order to provide a quality nursing service at all three levels of health care.
