Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media the inspiring example of this guesthouse, which is frequented by local and foreign tourists.

“Noodles guesthouse” in Dibra is another inspiring example of rural development, where tradition, hospitality and love for the country and nature are harmonized to create a unique experience for local and foreign visitors”, Rama wrote.

In the video posted by Rama, the hostess of the guesthouse said that, “This agrotourism was born to increase family income as much as possible and to add an attraction to Dibra and our country. This is a family business, where I, my husband and children serve. We serve mostly traditional dishes typical of Dibra; the tourists are very satisfied with our dishes”.

She said that, “Our guesthouse is well-known for its traditional dishes, the noodles and trahanana (sth like wheat meal porridge), and many other products that we produce from our farm, but also from the cooperation with farmers in the area where we get the milk, eggs, flour, wheat, fruits and vegetables”.

“We also have a hotel where tourists spend the night in fresh air and beautiful scenery”, she added, calling on young people to return to their country to invest as much as possible.

The transformation of rural areas into attractive landscapes has encouraged the creation of agrotourism, as a new model of rural development in Albania. /k.s/r.e/p.s./
