Central bank said that the non-resident loan share increased to 9% of the total loan portfolio in second quarter of 2021.

Data show that bank loan portfolio to the non-resident borrowers rose 5.1% year-on-year to around 483 million euros in second quarter.

Central bank data indicate that the non-performing loans ratio for the non-resident borrowers is relatively low.

According to Bank of Albania, the non-performing loans ratio for this group stood at about 2% in the first half of 2021.
