During the meeting, Ambassador Durmishi thanked Parliament Speaker Nikolla for the new dynamics of parliamentary cooperation with the Assembly and the institutions of Kosovo, which has sat well with the institutions and citizens of Kosovo.

Parliament Speaker Nikolla praised the excellent and fraternal cooperation between the two countries and expressed the will and confidence that this cooperation will enter a new, more dynamic and fruitful stage.

“My first visit in Kosovo was not merely symbolic, but with clear objectives and expectations to step up cooperation between the Assembly of Albania and Kosovo. The Roundtable of Committee Chairs, which was institutionalized in October, will be followed by the institutionalization of the Roundtable of Heads of Parliamentary Delegations, in order to build a joint parliamentary diplomacy and address the current and future challenges of Kosovo,” Nikolla underlined.
