Prime Minister Edi Rama reached out to all Muslim believers, wishing for their fasting and prayers be accepted on this blessed Night of Qads.

The Night of Qadr, or the Night of Power, is, in Islamic belief, the night when the Quran was first sent down from heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the prophet Muhammad.

Fasting on this day is described as better than a thousand months of worshipping. According to the clerics, fasting and prayers on this day determine the destiny and life of every person during a year.
