Glover and his team shot some of the scenes of the series in the Albanian capital. The producer of the film is Ylli Ujka.

Veliaj said that, “It is a great pleasure that Tirana hosts such a great actor as Danny Glover”.

“I am very happy that a Netflix series entitled ‘The Prosecutor’ is being filmed in Tirana. We grew up in those difficult years, when we didn’t have access to American television; then, by means of artificial antennas we watched American movies dubbed in Italian, while the cinema, art, actors were a window to a world where Albania aspired to become part. I would not have imagined that actors like Danny Glover would come to our city to shoot films, and prestigious platforms like Netflix promote Tirana’s reputation. Sometimes miracles happen and I’m so glad you’re in our city. This place will always be your home and you are always welcome”, said Veliaj.

On his part, Actor Denny Glover said that he felt very welcome in Tirana and is looking forward to his next visit.

“I have the opportunity to talk about the special visit I paid here in Albania and also how much I appreciate the people I work with. Being known is one thing, but being respected and loved is something else, and I am a friend of the Albanian people. This visit will not be my last here in Albania”, said Glover.

Danny Glover is one of the most popular American actors, who has played in many roles in Hollywood cinema, the most famous being “Lethal Weapon”, alongside Mel Gibson./k.s/ /gj.m/r.e/p.s./
