He has been a wrestling champion in Albania for 17 years and is now a mixed martial arts (MMA) champion in the USA.

Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj shared a video with Vilson who today promoted the name of Albania, and especially Tirana, to the highest levels.

“People like Vilson Ndregjoni are rare! He has been a wrestling champion in Albania for 17 years, as well as an MMA champion in the USA. Today, Vilson is the first Albanian one step away from the UFC champion.

We look forward for all the young people, who today have promoted the name of Albania, and especially Tirana, to the highest levels anywhere in the world, to shine like Vilson and all the other friends! Good luck my friend in the next wrestling event on September 2, in Paris”, wrote Veliaj./m.m/r.e/p.s./
