Celibashi said that they discussed on the need for possible legal improvements in the Electoral Code in regard to the financial supervision of election campaigns, financing of political parties and their reporting, as well as financing from third parties.

“We shared our stance after hearings with the Special Parliamentary Commission for Implementation of Electoral Reform and implementation of OSCE/ODIHR recommendations,” he said.

Also, Celibashi informed that in the meeting the interlocutors agreed on the next steps of the very fruitful cooperation so far with NDI/Albania and the administration of the Central Election Commission. /m.m/r.e/p.s./
