Celibashi informed that the main issues under discussion were the progress of the electoral reform, the interaction with the Dialogue Group in the Assembly, the expectations of the CEC to enable out of country voting, the law on political parties and the financing of political parties.

“We also discussed the Code of Conduct, which is in the pipeline and in cooperation with IDEA International, whose expert will provide templates of documents used in the European elections,” he said.

Another issue that was brought up during the discussion, according to Celibashi, was the hate speech used during the electoral campaign.
Robert Benjamin emphasized that the voting of Albanians abroad can be challenging for the CEC, as this voting remains problematic from a technical point of view even for much more developed countries.
He underlined that the process requires capacities, time and financial resources.
Benjamin expressed his willingness to help and cooperate with the CEC for every step towards improving the electoral process in the country.
