Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

“To talk about Nazmi’s art is not easy. It is an atypical painting, which has evolved while preserving its original dough. But, for those who have not seen his works of art in the past, I can only say that they have generally been surfaces that at a distance of a few meters appeared to be the same surface, but when getting closer revealed through very subtle details a mountain, top a tree, a goat, a horse and so on,” Rama said.

“Nazmi, thank you very much for coming here and for the generosity with which you offered your paintings to this space. I hope that in the end you will return enriched by this fresh taste of Albania even more and then later, in the future, we will have the opportunity to see other creations of your memories and dreams”, said Rama.

Painter Nazmi Hoxha thanked PM Rama for the support for opening of this exhibition.

On her part, Director of the Agency for Dialogue and Co-governance Eridana Çano said that, “Nazmi Hoxha’s art cannot be limited to a single genre. He is a master of compositions, landscapes, nudes and portraits, which together bring a testimony of his versatility and depth as an artist, different parts of dreams within a great dream of art”.

The special exhibition of 123 works of art comes to the Albanian public, conceived as “dreams within a dream”.

Today, Nazmi Hoxha lives in the USA and exercises his artistic activity with solo and group exhibitions.

The exhibition “Dreams Within a Dream” by Nazmi Hoxha will remain open until May 10.
