Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj on Sunday hosted the Mayor of Mykonos, Konstantinos Koukas, with talks focusing on ways to share experience in tourism industry, issues concerning integration of the Albanian citizens in the neighbouring countries, as well cooperation to tap economic potential of both cities.

“You are doing excellent job for your city. I toured the city and I am really more impressed than I expected. I serve as Mykonos Mayor for almost 7 and a half years, I know how important the Mayor’s role is in the life of the city. It would be great if direct flights between Tirana and Mykonos are launched. I am sure that a better cooperation between the two cities will bring better results for our citizens,” Koukas said.
