TIRANA, March 8 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama presented on Monday in the activity “Road to April 25 – ALBANIA THE FUTURE, EMIGRATION THE PAST,” Bora Muzhaqi from Elbasan, graduated in England, who will join the SP team for April 25 elections

In her presentation, Muzhaqi said, “I was also born in Elbasan, but I spent very few years of my life in that city and then at the age of 17 I decided to go to England to continue my studies. I was very young at that time, but I still knew very well that I wanted to go to a well-known and prestigious University to gain as much knowledge as possible for the future.”

“I decided to finish high school in Cambridge. After two years there, with a very good scholarship thanks to the school that managed to sponsor my studies, I thankfully went to one of Europe’s best universities for economics, the London School of Economics. And there I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics, ” said Muzahqi.

“In 2013, you opened a platform that called on all Albanian students graduated abroad to return to Albania. That platform was very enticing and my mom sent it to me and I said ok I am going to apply too because they probably want people like me. I gladly applied to the Department of Finance which was also my domain and was accepted with great pleasure. But I thought I was not ready yet. I still had a lot to learn, it was not the right moment for me to contribute to my country, because I still needed to gain further knowledge ,” said Muzhaqi.

“So I decided to accept another position at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where I worked as a tax consultant. After many years of work and expertise, I was accredited and promoted and even recruited to another company,” she said.

“The bottom line is that I have worked with businesses all the time. I have known all businesses, both Albanian and international ones, and so I have gained a better understanding of their problems. We have fought together with the challenges they have had with state institutions from time to time. I thought I should be inside. So I applied for another program, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. “I was selected and so I have been with the government for 2 years now to help them create a better business climate,” stressed Muzhaqi.

“It was a long, uphill battle. I think we have done a lot, but there is still work to be done and that is why I am here today. If I did not have new ideas and if I did not want to contribute, I would not be here with you today,” she said.
