TIRANA, Jan  5 /ATA/ Municipalities have until the end of January to receive funds for social housing.

According to the MoFE, 150 million ALL are available for the completion of projects started in 2022 and 300 million ALL are available for new projects that will kick off in 2023.

Meanwhile, the local government units have received the application format, the documentation that must accompany the application format, the disqualification criteria, the scoring system and the funding/co-financing limits for each project category.

“The request for financing or co-financing must be sent by January 31, 2023, accompanied with the application file,” the MoFE announcement says.

The subsidy funds that will be used for the program of rent bonus and the immediate grant are 96.2 million ALL and 6 million ALL, respectively. The request for the rent subsidy must also be sent within the month of January.

MoFE reminds the local government units of the obligation that no less than 5% of the beneficiaries of each program must be Roma and Egyptian minority families.
