In a post on social media, Mazniku announced that the first initiative had to do with some proposals for changing the law “On Co-Ownership”, with the aim of improving the maintenance of communal spaces in residential buildings. Under the proposal, municipalities would take a more active role, ordering building inspections and imposing maintenance fees if co-owners fail to reach an agreement.

The second initiative comes after the task assigned in the joint meeting between the Government and the Municipalities in Shkodra, which envisages the launch of an online platform for the Mayors of the Municipalities. Through this platform, the mayors will have the opportunity to discuss on a periodic basis with representatives of the government to coordinate work and to address issues that require mutual cooperation. Mazniku announced that the platform is ready and the first meeting will be held soon.
