The newly-elected mufti of Tirana Bilal Teqja was the guest to this episode.

This episode was dedicated to faith, as we are in the holy month of Ramadan.

Teqja narrated how he devoted himself to the Islamic faith, from the first time he entered the mosque at the age of 12 and throughout the period of his studies in religious schools.

The mufti spoke about the effects of fasting during Ramadan.

“If we think of the Islamic faith as a beautiful edifice, it is supported by 5 pillars: the declaration of faith (shahada), prayer (salah), alms-giving (zakat), fasting (sawm) and pilgrimage (hajj). The fasting during Ramadan cultivates sincerity, the human spirit, which summarizes the moral codes that man has in life. It is the best time to understand what values you have as a person, what you can fix, what you can give more”, said Teqja.

Further on, Rama focused on the significance of reading, quoting Prophet Muhammad: ” Ink of a Scholar: Holier than Blood of a Martyr”.

“Knowledge is the embryo of everything”, affirmed the mufti./p.s./
