TIRANA, July 9 /ATA/Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that the Socialist Party MPs elected in the May 11 parliamentary elections for the Vlora district are actively engaged on the ground, assessing challenges concerning communal spaces and public services in the city.

In a social media post, Rama highlighted the importance of maintaining a direct connection with the community, stating that the mandates entrusted to them carry a significant responsibility—one that must be honoured through tangible actions.

Rama wrote that “The May 11 team for Vlora is actively present on the ground and will remain so, assessing challenges related to shared spaces and public services, while engaging with citizens from the centre to the outskirts of the city. This effort reflects our full commitment to the 9 historic mandates we’ve been entrusted with—an exceptional responsibility that must be honoured by maintaining close ties with local communities, listening attentively, and working harder with and for everyday people.”

In several cities across the country, a large-scale operation is underway to free up illegally occupied public spaces.
