Situated between the sharp summit of Mount Çika, overlooking the Ionian Sea on one side, and the Vlorë River on the other, this location in southern Albania is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and those interested in wildlife tourism, attracting both local and international visitors.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted pictures today on social media showing a group of tourists at the top of Mount Çika.

He describes the images as spectacular, adding: “Mount Çika, where the sea and snow form a perfect postcard.”
The summit of Çika is a towering peak in the Ceraunian Mountains of Albania, standing at an elevation of 2,044 meters above sea level. Located near the city of Vlora, it is one of the highest points in Europe, ranking 85th on the list of the continent’s tallest peaks.
Mount Çika, a key part of Llogara National Park, is famed for its rich biodiversity. The western side of the mountain is home to a wide variety of plant species, including Bulgarian fir, Austrian pine, Bosnian pine, and Macedonian pine.
Throughout the year, many visitors to Mount Çika enjoy stunning views of the Albanian Riviera and the beauty of its unique forests up close.
