Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu stated that for the first time during this summer season, the motorcycle ambulances have been added to the pre-hospital medical emergency fleet and the number of ambulances for the 34 summer medical centers has increased.

Today, Koçiu closely followed the demonstration at Lungomare in Vlora of the new motorcycle ambulances of the National Emergency Medical Center that ensure fast service.

The minister said that the new motorcycle ambulances, which will be used in areas with high traffic, in urban centers and coastal areas throughout the season, shorten the time of arrival to the patient for any medical emergency.

Koçiu stated that these, “are the right solution in those situations when it is impossible to quickly access an event or someone who needs health intervention as soon as possible”.

“With the motorcycle ambulances, we will have a very quick reaction and bring the doctor, the nurse in direct contact with the patient”, emphasized the minister.

On his part, Director of the National Emergency Medical Center Skënder Brataj said that the motorcycle ambulances are equipped with medical equipment such as a defibrillator, means to perform an electrocardiogram at home and starting immediate therapy in cases of ischemia or heart attack, as well as with the relevant medications. /p.s./

Currently, there are 7 construction sites where work is going on simultaneously, in function of the automotive park in Krasta.

Mayor Gledian Llatja together with General Director of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services Blendi Gonxhja inspected the works which continue at a high pace as well as the 2.1 km promenade trail along the Shkumbin River.

Mayor Llatja presented the progress of the works in detail to the director of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, while affirming that, “It is an area that has always been a neglected suburban area of the city, with great potential because it is close to the river. Today, with the big investment we have made, we achieve a lot. The work is progressing very well, the track has taken its shape; it is a titanic job that is being done”.

Llatja added that, “The first segment has already finished”.

Appreciating this great investment for Elbasan, Mayor Llatja also reminded the skeptics.

For his part, the General Director of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services Blendi Gonxhja evaluated the progress of the works and emphasized the development that this large investment will bring to Elbasan and beyond.

“The automotive park serves Elbasan, but also the whole of Central Albania. It will be a great center for spending time during the weekend, not only for sports events, but also for culture, fairs, professional courses, a center that will convey so many movements in the formative and creative part; this center will generate a new road code approach, soon. Drivers will be prepared to attend training and educational courses after receiving their license. One of the great experiences in this field is in Austria”, said Gonxhja.

“I believe that within the year 2025-2026 we will see this work materialized”, said Gonxhja.

The Elbasan automotive park marks a historic step for Albanian motoring and motoring activities, as well as for the promotion of motorsport culture in Albania.

There will also be built the RETRO museum and atelier, motorsport academy and road safety education academy, professional test ranges, off-road track, helipad and area sports ultra-light aircraft.

The investment also includes the new complex of Road Transport Service Elbasan with the new Technical Control Center (testing), dedicated to road transport services./p.s./

The Çezma e Tarikos – Sotira Waterfall trail is located between gorges and mountains with landscapes and diverse vegetation. Meanwhile, the Sotira Waterfall is located at the foot of the Tomori mountain, 2 hours away from residential areas, and as a result, there is wild nature and untouched by human hands.
