Under the concessional loan program launched by the govt., by 2025 at least 900 families of police officers in need of housing will receive interest-free mortgage.

Deliberating on the eligible categories and criteria, Minister Balla said that, “92 police officers have been qualified, namely 16 women and young women and 76 men and young men. Besides the fact that you are all young, 78 employees are of basic role and the other 14 hold the ranks of deputy commissioner up to one of them, commissioner. The beneficiaries are distributed across all the directorates.”

The minister emphasized that, from the day I took office, I committed myself to increasing the living standard of police officers, but also supporting the families of martyrs or the fallen in the line of duty.
