According to the BoA, during March, the loan portfolio for households expanded by about ALL 2 billion, compared to a month ago.

Mortgage topped the total of lending to households with an increase of 7%.

The Bank of Albania announces that the new loan reached the value of ALL 22.3 billion, a value that is twice as high compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Banking experts are optimistic that lending prospects for this year remain positive, driven by the expected improvement of real economy, the good financial health of banks and accommodative policy of the Bank of Albania.
