The production, choreographed by acclaimed Spanish artist Marcos Morau in his first collaboration with Italy’s National Choreographic Centre “Aterballetto”, brings together 16 dancers in a performance that fuses movement, visual art and cinematic elements.

“Although it is almost impossible to separate his music from the images that accompany it, Morricone transcends and merges with life itself – with memories, with the beauty and cruelty of a world that keeps moving forward,” Morau said.

Produced by Fondazione Nazionale della Danza – Aterballetto, the show draws inspiration from the legacy of Morricone, the Italian composer who won two Oscars, three Grammys, three Golden Globes, six BAFTAs, ten David di Donatello awards, eleven Nastri d’Argento prizes, two European Film Awards and a Golden Lion for lifetime achievement.
